Alix, Alix, Alix, Alix, ALIX!

Alice
Alice.
Alice!!
Alix, probably
Alice by a country mile
Alix- much more gorgeous and uncommon. Alice is yawn-inducing for me.
Alice. It's very classic.
Alix definitely.
Alice.
I do love both. I have to go with Alice though since it is my grandmother's name.
I prefer Alice.
Alix is my sister's name!
I doubt my dad knew it was the French form of Alix though to be honest I just think he was looking for an 'unusual' way to spell Alex.
But as a name I rather like it. To me, it's unusual looking without being 'out there'.

Although it's an old French form of Alice it is not considered the only version of Alice in French. Alice is used in France and Alix is used on both boys and girls there. You can see it used on a male character in this French/Belgian comic book:

The name Alice was used 155,447 times between 1900 and 2003 in France while Alix was used 17,681 times between those years. The stats are taken from the INSEE (Institut National de la Statistique et des Études Économiques).
I prefer the form Alice but Alix is very nice as well.
