[Facts] Moirene??
My daughters middle name is Moirene, named by her father after his deceased mother. I have no idea about the origin but his grandfather was Dutch. It is not listed in this database and I wanted to find out where it came from. TIA____________________________________________________________

An alternative spelling of Maureen?

My first thought tooSome type of alternative Anglicization of Máirín (Mairin).

It looks like a more unusual anglicisation of Máirín (Mairin - site won't link it with accents), which Maureen comes from. According to the site it can be pronounced MOI-reen or MAW-reen.

It kind of looks like a cross between Moira and Maureen.~Ilana~

not pronounced the same Moirene is m-oy-reen. Maureen is M-or-reen in Australia at least

I would say that Moireen is a version of Maureen/Máirín influenced by Moira/Moyra.
