Yesterday, I found out that my mom and I pronounce Sergei a little differently! When I'm not pronouncing it the Russian way, I say something like the word survey (but replacing the v with a g) and she says something like SAIR-gay. So I wanted to know how you all pronounce it.

OT: The name of the day is Vasco!! Yay!! ♥

I know one Sergej whose parents are Bulgarian, he's pronounced sair-GAY.

I would pronounced it "SER-gay" at first glance, although I know it would be pronounced differently in Russian.
