Would the names Joan and John be too close for sibling names?

I know they're related, but I love the sound of Marion and Joan as twins...

If they are I'd probably pull John. So what name should I replace it with?

Here's the sib-set (what do you think?):
DS: Frederick Theodore "Fred / Fritz"
DS: John Alexander Frances
DD/DD: Marion Anastasia / Joan Elizabeth

Little siblings will probably have the names of Oliver, Gregory, Eleanor or Agnes / Agatha.

And lastly, what are some good nicknames for Joan? These can be kinda silly, "just called by the family & friends" names.

Joan and John do sound a bit too similar, but I like them - and in fact I really like all of your combos, but Frances is a female spelling to me.
Can't think of any interesting nns for Joan, just Jo and Joanie. Or Jojo.
