[Opinions] Harryo ...?
I was watching The Duchess today nd noticed the name of one of the little girls was Harryo. I couldn't find it here nd was wondering if anyone knows what it means nd what they think of it. I really like it.

TIA.

It's a nickname for Harriet. You can look at the information on the children from the real Duchess of Devonshire, Georgiana Cavendish on whom the film was based:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Georgiana_Cavendish,_Duchess_of_Devonshire

As Alcyone said, her daughter's name was actually Harriet and Harryo was her nickname. I think it's an adorable nickname, although I might prefer Hattie.

I loved it when I saw the film, but I'd never use it.

It was actually her nickname. She was named after her aunt Harriet, but she was called Harryo.
