I would prefer Estella and Estelle (and Estel to both of those), just because I can't see Stella aging well. I see a blonde little girl up until the age of 10 maybe. I can't imagine someone thirty with the name Stella (nor can I with Kaylee or Nevaeh but I digress). Also I think of the word stellar.
