Emilia

I've never been able to like Amelia. It brings to mind oatmeal.

Emilia is somehow edgier without losing a drop of class.

Ohh....hard one

But.. I think for me... I like Amelia. It seems friendlier and more approachable than Emilia. Emilia is royal and a little lofty-sounding, with a touch of a dark edge, while Amelia is classy, but somehow more down-to-earth and wholesome, lighter than Emilia somehow.

Amelia is a lovely name, one of my faves!

I consider them completely different names, and like them each in their own right. I think I like Amelia better though, it just feels better.

Keeping in mind that, on sight, I pronounce Amelia as "uh-meel-yuh" and Emilia as "eh-mee-lee-uh"...

I prefer Amelia.

I like both ok, but I think i prefer Emilia because it has more of a spanish/italian feel. Amelia is more appealing to my eye though.

I know this might seem silly, but Amelia seems like a wholesome sunny day to me, while Emilia seems like a skinny, sickly Mediterranean woman.
