[Opinions] Cora?
WDYTO the name? It's been in my head for weeks ever since my BF mentioned he liked it. I would use it as a name on it's own as I cant think of anything I like that it abbreviates. Opinions? Thanks :0)

I mainly associate it with our dear poster by this username, anyway it's a charming name, though probably I wouldn't use it, just because there's other names I like better.

It's cute. After seeing promos for the movie, I really like the name Coraline (which I'm pretty sure is made-up, but it sounds like a classic). A family in my college town was in the news earlier this year because their baby Cora Paige died. That was the first I'd heard Cora used in real life, and I thought Paige was a jarringly modern middle name for it.

I love Cora. It have liked it since I saw Last of the Mohicans. It is short and sweet while still having history and charm. It isn't too frilly but it isn't masculine. I think it is good.

I love Cora. I love that it's a literary name, and I think it's a lot more interesting than Laura. Two thumbs up.

It's pretty and I like the fact that it's not overused. You could use Corinna as the full name, if you wanted one, or Coralie.

I like it! It's classical and yet retro, which gives it edge and energy. I can see this name becoming more popular in time, along with the likes of Norah, Nell, Polly and Alice. And I think it's fine on its own, though I appreciate Coralie as a full name.

I love Cora. It's "short and sweet", but also has a lot of strength to it.
