Love, love it. Love Emrys, love Ambrose. My only fear is that here in the U.S., where the name is virtually unknown, parents would tend to use if for little girls. "But it starts with "Em-." Doesn't that mean it's for a girl?" It drives me bonkers. I've given up trying to explain that Emlyn is a boy's name. The "-lyn" on the end is too difficult to get through to people. Rhys seems to be holding as a boy's name so hopefully Emrys would as well. But I still fear the encroachment factor.

Yes. I know what you mean. And Emlyn does have the double trouble fact...starting with the very pop 'Em' and ending with the cery pop '-lyn' But that's a really cool name too.
