[Opinions] WDYTO Scarlett?
I love this name, but it's a bit of a mouthful to use this all the time. I can't think of an appropriate, feminine sounding nickname for it. All I can think of is Scar, which is just awful. Any suggestions??

my name is Carly and i always thought of scarlett as a way to honour myself. Its cool how you saw that in scarlett as well.
I love Scarlett! Carly or Lettie, would make great nn's.
I love it. They nickname Scarly might be alright.
love it!
Lettie?
But personally I don't think it's a mouthful. It's a relatively short name IMO.

Lettie could work as a nn?
I don't think it needs a nickname. I don't think it's much of a mouthful at all. It's a two syllable name. I have a two syllable name, and I've never had a nickname.
I love Scarlett. I think it's too pretty to use a nn for because they're all horrible. I don't like Carly, Scar or Lettie and I can't think of any others. Scarlett is only two syllables so I think it would be perfectly fine not using a nn for.
I think it's pretty, prefer the spelling of Scarlet. I love the nickname Carly for it. Also Lettie is cute.
I loved GWTW but don't like Scarlett - I think of "scarlet woman" and "scar". There's a modern Hebrew name, Shani (shah-nee), meaning the same, so perhaps that could be the nn. It looks far-fetched but the link is in the "scarlet" meaning.
Having said that, unless the nn has one-syllable - why bother with one? Maybe "Shah"? from Shani?
