Jaden is now 8 1/2 months pregnant, and ready to have the baby out where she and Greg can hold him/her. Max is upset because he can no longer sit on Jaden's lap, but Greg recently constructed a cat house for him to climb around in, and Max has made it his new favorite sleeping spot. The nursery is coming along well--Greg painted it sunshine yellow with a blue sky and white fluffy clouds on the ceiling. Jaden absolutely loves it and can't wait to spend some time in the nursery with the baby. They have a conglomeration of wood furniture received from relatives and friends--Greg sanded it all down and painted it white. Jaden has been busy shopping for everything she might possibly need. She had her baby shower six weeks ago, and doesn't have anything else that she needs. The baby has been a very active one, kicking almost all day long. Fortunately she/he sleeps at night when Jaden does. Greg likes to feel the baby kick, and has accompanied Jaden to all of her doctor's appointments. Jaden is currently on maternity leave from her nursing job, and she has up to four months after the baby is born to stay at home.
