[Opinions] Elias...
...has been growing on me as of late. I'm pronouncing it ell-EYE-uss but I used to pronounce it ELL-ee-uss, and I like that too. What do you think of Elias?

I like the name, either way it's pronounced.
I love it and I'd use it in a heartbeat if it wasn't so popular here.
I pronounce it eh-LEE-ahs.

I say Eh-lie-us and I've not heard it any other way. It is one of my favorite names. I'd use but I feel it is too close to Andreas.
I like the name Elias; it has a strong feel to it, but not too strong.
I too have recently started liking the name a lot, mainly because it is the only middle name I can find that I like that goes with Jacob. It really is a great middle name, I think. I pronounce it ell-EYE-us also.
I like it; it's sturdy sounding, and not trendy sounding at all. It's a name from the Bible. If you don't like it for a first name, it's a great middle name.

I find Elias (emphasis on the second syllable) irresistibly handsome.
I like it. It's very handsome, old-fashioned, and intellectual. I don't much like the ELL-ee-us prn though, so don't use that.
