Help[Facts] How to pronounce Eilwen?
I found this Welsh name here in the database and love it, but it doesn't say how to pronounce it. Does anyone know? Any Welsh people here, please?

I'm not Welsh, but I do know it could be pronounced IEL-wen (long I at beginning) or AYL-wen. It depends on where in Wales you are.

According to Mr Iain Ó hAnnaidh (native Welsh speaker and linguist):
"In the penultimate syllable, especially in South Wales, the diphthong EI [əɪ] becomes a simple vowel, short (I) [ɪ] or semi-long (II) [iˑ] , depending on the following consonant."
