I think it could definitely work. I don't like it because I just associate it with "pleading for clemency" and that whole idea is one I associate with criminals. I know that it is essentially the same as Mercy and I don't mind that as a name so really there is no coherency in this opinion but nevertheless...
Jude Clemency is a very cool combo actually. I think Clemency works much better as a mn than a fn. I also think it actually works better on a boy than a girl.
