[Opinions] Eloise
What do you think of it? Do you think it works better as a first name or a middle name? Combo suggestions? Thanks in advance!

I used to love this name and it was really in my top names. However it has now faded as a favorite. There is something about it that seems a little too old fashion for me. I much prefer Elise.

It is a little dated but also makes me think of a precocious (sp?) little girl. It is sophisticated and old fashioned. I like it better as a middle name.

I like it as either a first or middle name. It's not my favorite in either spot, but I think it's easier to find mn combos.I much prefer Elsie.I think Scarlet Eloise is very pretty.Other suggestions:

I never used to like it because I only associated it with my great-aunt (Jean Eloise) who I'm not too fond of. But I know of someone who has a 1 year old daughter named Eloise, and now I can very much see it on a little girl and I think it's very bright and sweet. Her name is Eloise Julian (not sure why that mn), which makes me think of Eloise Juliana which I think is a beautiful combo.

When I hear it it reminds me of that one Eloise girl who lives at the plaza. It's French right? I like it!Snowfire
