[Opinions] Hannah, Anna or Anne?
Let's say you had to name your daughter Hannah, Anna or Anne? Which one would you choose and why? You can pick a middle name of your choice, but you had to call her by her first name.Tell me which name you would choose and why you would choose it.You can choose between Ann and Anne, Hannah and Hanna, if you wish.Oh and what do you think of Hannah, Anna and Anne and what are your preferred spellings?

Hannah Willow.I do prefer Anne or Anna (actually as a nn for Anneliese) but Hayley's middle name is already Anne.

I would use Anna because it looks and sounds the most appealing to me. Anna is my aunt's name (she uses the German pronunciation) and it is the name of my mom's teaching assistant who is a good friend of my mom. I like Anne, but I find it a bit dull due to its frequent use as a middle name. I really like Hannah, but due to its recent popularity, it seems really youthful to me. I don't mind any of the spellings.

Definitely AnnaI would use it in a heartbeat if it wasn't my sister's name.

HannahI've always loved Hannah. When I was a lttle girl this was my pick for a daughter, right up unitl I was about 14. Every time we changed our names in games, I'd always pcik Hannah. I can't use it because a family friend has, but I love it for someone else.Anna is lovely too, thats my second favourite. Anne is nms, seems very dated to me, but I much prefer the Anne spelling (looks much more complete.)ETA: If it were my daughter, I'd probably go for Hannah Ottilie.

Honestly, none of them thrill me, however:Hannah is just too frumpy for my tastes.
Anne is rather dull and reminds me of the words 'an' and 'and.'Therefore ...I'd choose Anna just because it's a little more interesting. Also, Anna can be called Annie or Annika (both of which I really like).

Anna, but I like all three.I'd pick Anna. I like all three names, but Hannah is too popular and Anne is a little boring IMO. Also, I just like Anna the best. I have never had a bad association with an Anna.If I used Hannah I'd use the spelling Hanna, and maybe the pronunciation that goes along with Hanna (HAHN-ah) rather than HAN-ah) and if I used Anne I'd call her Annie. I do love the nickname Annie.

I dislike Hannah/Hanna and Ann, but I love Anna and Anne.I would choose Anna. As for why... I just like it a little better than Anne. (I'm not sure about the middle name at the moment. It would be either Anna Louise, Anna Rosalie, Anna Beatrix, or Anna Gwendolen.)

I enjoy Anna myselfIt's so classic and lyrical, and if you like, you can still call her Anne too :)

Anna for sure. I already have a cousin Hannah, and I always like Anne for a middle name better. Anna Marie-Matilde, I love.

I'd chose Anne. Hannah is everywhere at the moment so I wouldn't use it even though I like it. I really like Anna too but I think I'd rather see a baby Anne than another Anna / Hannah. Also, I know a Hannah and an Anna but not an Anne.My combo would be Anne Elisabeth. My prefered spellings are Hannah, Anna and Anne and I like all three names.

Hannah is my first pick, and Anna second. Anne just seems old ladyish all by itself. I like Leanne and Breanne better.

I would pick Anna because I love it. The others don't really appeal to me. The spellings you have are what I would use for each name.

AnnaI just find it the most appealing. I don't like H sounds usually, and Anne seems insubstantial and frumpy to me (though I admit it would be nice to see it as a first name for once). Plus, Anna has a Beatles song attached to it, which tends to sway me slightly ;)

Anne!I love Anne. Hannah and Anna are pretty, but really common. Anne is so gorgeous. I'd use it for daughter #2 easily. My preferred spellings for each of those are Hannah and Anne.

Anne!I love the charming & pretty simplicity of Anne. Plus, my grandmothers are named Ann & Anna, and my middle name is Anne after them. I'd certainly use it in real life.

I love all three to be honest, and I have gone through phases where all three have been a favourite. I usually prefer Anna as a nn for something (usually it is Andromeda...I think the fact that my Andromeda could go by simple Anna makes it a little less of a GP) so I will strike that one out seeing as nns are not an option in this scenario.Anne is what my Nana goes by (she is Annette nn Anne) so that is a very appealing option. I think Hannah is sweeter than Anne but both are beautiful in their simplicity. I would probably let my SO choose between these two if I really had to make the decision in real life. I just can't decide.Today their combos would be Hannah Calanthe and Anne Clementine though

This is a hard one.
My best friend from school is called Hanna, and I would really like to honour her. But to be honest, I don't love her name. It's alright, but I don't really care for it much.
I do however really like Anna, because it is so simple. I don't know, if I would use it, as it is very popular where I live (as is Hannah).
So I'm torn between the two.
I'd probably go with Hanna, as that actually honours, but otherwise I prefer Anna.

Hannah. My mother is named Ann, so I wouldn't want my daughter to share the same name. Besides that, I think Hannah is pretty.I wouldn't use Anna because I always thought the A sounded like the noise you make when the doctor sticks a tongue depressor down your throat.I prefer Hannah over Hanna because it's a palindrome, and Anna/Ann.

I would choose Anna.Anne is very boring to me. Anna is more interesting.I dislike Hannah. The H sound at the beginning makes a big difference. There are not too many names that begin with an H that I like.I prefer Anne over Ann, that's for sure.
