It's a nice name - a bit boring just because it is/was used so often, but in this age of Aidens, Caidens, and Braedens, Michael as a first name is a welcome change for a new little guy.

I do perceive it as a filler mn for boys, so I prefer to see it as a first name for new babies. Also, Mike is ok, but I think the nn Mickey is cute for occassional use.

Michael is a boys' name the reason for whose enormous popularity completely escapes me. The two others who join Michael on the short list are David and Steven.

I think it's ok, a little boring though.

I don't mind it. I think it's a nice classic. I know quite a few of them, but only one small child who is 5. :)
