I don't know that I've ever met a McKenzie. I know of a kid called Mack (a girl, so I'd like to think it's short for something like McKenzie) and a Kenzie or Kensey or Kencie, I don't know how it is spelled.

I do think that Kenzie would be fine on it's own, and not constantly lengthened to McKenzie.
