I'm not sure if I would use these IRL, but they're both great. I'd probably use Antigone as a mn, although I kind of like the sound of Euridice better..

I can't really imagine them on real people, and the characters they're associated with are kinda depressing.

They're alright. Eurydice would be kind of cool to see, but Antigone seems too over the top. And I only think of the story by Sophocles.

Antigone is a GP for me. I love it. It is spunky and would work for all ages, imo. I love it with the nn Tig. A while back I was considering it as a first name but now have moved it into the middle name slot.

Eurydice is okay. I don't particularly like it or dislike it.

I really like the names, but I am not so fond of the English pronunciations.

Laodice is another name you might like.

Antigone is a GP for me. I like the character and the name lends itself well to the nickname Annie which I also like. I hadn't really considered Eurydice, but I like the meaning.

I like them a lot too, but always balk at more unusual classical names because I know that people will mangle them horribly in pronunciation. Aunty-gone and Yuri-dice.

I love them for characters and such, though. Eurydice especially has such a dark smoothness about it.
