Which do you prefer? Is there a particular reason that you like one over the other?

Sophia. I just prefer the look of the 'ph' to the 'f'.:)

Sophia; mainly because I don't associate Sofia as a name much. I tend to think of the Bulgarian city when I see Sofia.

I think Sophia looks prettier... That's all :)

Sophia, definitely.Sophia sounds like it's sharpened with age. I don't think "wise" when I hear Sofia. It's slightly cute, but it's definitely juvenile. Sofia might be a good name, but Sophia seems more reserved.

I prefer Sophia because it looks nicer, more balanced.

Sophia, hands down.Sofia looks like "sofa."

Sofia! It's just prettier to me, Sophia looks frumpy. Sofia is just beautiful.

SophiaIt looks softer and more correct. Sofia looks more ethnic-- I would expect a Sofia to come from a non-English speaking family.

I prefer Sophia in an english speaking country because it looks more english.

I love both of them. For me, personally, I'd pick Sophia, but I've got no good reason why. The Sophia spelling just seems to suit me more than the Sofia one. For someone else I can't pick, love them both.Either way it's a gorgeous name. It's my cousins name, but I still want to use it as a middle name.

I prefer Sophia. That might just be the spelling I'm used to, but I also feel Sofia looks too similar to "sofa."

Sofia!I love the spelling Sofia. It's very european (i'm a sucker for european names & spellings). Sophia looks boring to me. I don't like the PH in it, it doesn't look right to me, it looks like a misspelling of soAp (probably weird, but that's just me!)

Sofia is my favourite. I have just always liked this spelling. I don't mind Sophia though and still find the name beautiful spelt this way. :)

Sophia, it looks better, but I love Sofia as well. If I was to use it, I'd seriously consider Sofia because I'd live in a Spanish-speaking country and people would probably misspell it all the time if I spelt it with PH, but otherwise I'd definitely take PH.

I prefer Sophia but I'm used to both spellings and I don't think one is more common than the other one, at least not where I'm from. Personally, I prefer Sophia. I prefer the way it looks but it's also a more 'international' spelling and I tend to prefer those spellings (Carl instead of Karl, Elisabeth instead of Elisabet, Philip instead of Filip etc)

Sophia, purely for aesthetical reasons. I prefer the ph look to the f look in almost all names, including Sophia, Sophy, Delphine, Delphina, etc... It looks nicer and seems more 'complete', imo.
