[Opinions] Jordana
So...my husband and I have been talking babies/names a lot lately, and he really likes the name Jordan for a girl. I like it too, but I think I like Jordana more. What is your opinion of the name? I think it sounds strong, and intelligent. And I think I can persuade him to the feminine side with enough cajoling. ;)Oh, and the eternal question: any good combos? I love reading the different combos people can come up with for just about any name, so feel free to get creative. I'm feeling very open today.

I actually don't mind Jordan for a girl. Which is odd since it's not exactly feminine, which is what I usually go for. Jordana is nice too and would probably work better, just because it is more feminine. Here's some combo ideas:Jordana Autumn
Jordana Elise
Jordana Evelyn
Jordana Felicity
Jordana Ivy
Jordana Katherine
Jordana Lucy
Jordana Madeleine
Jordana Phoebe
Jordana Ruby

I like it so much more than JordanI agree that it sounds stronger and more intelligent, as well as more elegant and classy. It reminds me of the name Georgiana, but with a slightly more modern twist. you can still use the tomboyish "Jordy", so you get both worlds. I might pair the beautiful Jordana thusly:Jordana Charlotte
Jordana Estelle
Jordana Celeste
Jordana Ivy
Jordana Mary
Jordana Manon
Jordana Therese
Jordana Helene
Jordana Rose
Jordana Primrose
Jordana Violet
Jordana Blythe
Jordana Pearl
Jordana Belle
Jordana Blanche
Jordana Claude
Jordana Fleur

I am on the fence with this name. I love the sound,so I guess I'd label Jordana as an almost GP of mine. There is something appealing about this name for me.

I'm not fond of Jordan. I think I prefer it for a boy but it's definitely a 'real' unisex name and I have no problems with it being used for a girl. Jordana is better though and I actually think it's rather pretty although not my style at all. Some suggestions:
Jordana Rain
Jordana Cecilia
Jordana Arielle
Jordana Sophia
Jordana Flower
Jordana Sky
Jordana Isabeau
Jordana Ophélie
Jordana Caroline
Jordana Carys
Jordana Grier
Jordana Fideli
Jordana Mathilde

Hm, never thought of that one. I'm not the biggest fan of Jordan on a girl or boy, but I think I like Jordana. I had met a girl named Danna and thought that was a great name. It could also easily be used as a short form for Jordana.
As for combos, that's not my specialty!
