Do you like Vita as a nickname for Victoria?

Oddly, yes. It's not the kind of name I usually go for, but it works.

I agree with Domestic Engineer, it's a bit of a stretch. Vittoria nn Vita is more plausible. But, if you insisted on it, I'm sure people would get into the habit of using it for Victoria. It's just not quite as natural. Very pretty name though, Vita.

It's a bit of a stretch, for me at least, but I like it better than Vicky or Tori.

Thank you. Aren't Vicky and Tori boring. Vita means life. Plus there's Vita Sackville-West. Who was just amazing.

Yes they are. And both Vicky and Tori take away from the beauty of Victoria. Vita has a great meaning. I would go with that instead hands down.
