I love the name Poppy, but there I don't thing I would actually name my daughter that. I'm thinking Penelope Louise and calling her Poppy as a nickname.

It's adorable. I suspect Poppy wouldn't age well so this is probably your best move.

Poppy is definitely not strong enough to stand on it's own as a name. I think Penelope is good name to fall back on when she gets older. So I really like it.

Penelope is blessed with so many nickname options...Penny, Nell, Poppy, Polly. Poppy and Nell are my favorites for it.
