I don't know anything about Nordic languages, so don't take my word for it.. but I always thought the "J" usually makes a /y/ sound.. so my guess would be "Kyeer' sten."
I did know a guy from Norway named Jens who pronounced his name like "Yents."
But maybe the "kj" combination is different.
