[Opinions] Ayala
I came across this name today. I rather like it, and it's got a pretty meaning, though I wouldn't use it because it's also a Spanish and Italian surname so it's a bit odd for me. I dislike Ayelet though, because I've got a bad personal association with it.Thoughts on Ayala?

I find it pretty, but it's not a favorite. I definitely prefer it to Ayelet.

Sounds like the name of a wild amazon princess, or the heroine of one of those "Clan of the Cave Bear" type novels. Very pretty and ancient sounding.

I know a few Ayalas and Ayelets. Beautiful meaning! I think I prefer Ayala as well.

Although it can at least be considered a legitimate name, I really dislike it. Maybe it's slightly better than Ayla, which IMO is right up there on the top of my "stripper names" list. Ayala really doesn't appeal to me at all, and I don't understand how it is pretty. I'm sorry I had to be so blunt, but it bothers me how many Kayla, Layla, now Ayla names are out there.
