I think Zelda makes a smashing name for a scientist.
I would name a child of mine Zelda, that's how much I love it. It's my favorite name. It seems like it's getting talked a lot about on BtN, but I'm not the sort of person to get jealous over a name--seeing people talk about Zelda makes me so incredibly happy.
(And of course it'd be silly to try to "claim" a name, but I guess that's not my point.)
I like Maria and Hilda, too, and in fact Maria is striking me as particularly gorgeous right now. I love how simple and stunning it is.
