I just posted about this name the other day. I think it's sweet, but not sappy. I also adore the nickname Mel.
The only Melody I knew was a Japanese girl in high school. She was pretty cool, and wore the name well.
I like Melody Catherine and Melody Hannah, but my favorite combo is Melody Quinn. I don't know why, but I just love the way it sounds.
