The Thompson family is doing great. Here's a little bit about each of them.
Silas is a production manager for Hershey Foods. He works at the main Hershey plant in Pennsylvania, and enjoys his job immensely.
Alice has been a stay-at-home mom since they adopted Yuri, and she wouldn't trade her job for the world.
Lyra and Ryan are seventeen. Lyra intends to go to medical school and become a pediatric surgeon. She enjoys reading and listening to country music. Ryan is a great soccer player and intends to "go pro" next year. He has already been drafted by a team in England, and is excited by the chance to travel there.
Carly is fifteen. She enjoys dancing and playing the piano. She is in tenth grade, and hasn't exactly figured out what she wants to do with her life yet.
Yuri is fourteen. He is very proud of his Ukrainian heritage, and would like to return to his home country and work as an English teacher there, once he gets through college.
Beth and Ben are eleven. They spend almost all of their time together. Both enjoy writing stories, especially fantasy ones. Ben also illustrates some of their stories. The two would like to work as a publishing team.
Micah is nine. He enjoys playing soccer with his older brothers, and is especially proud of his boy scout badges that he's earned recently.
Zach is eight. He is always getting into trouble, but he can also be very sweet when he wants to be.
Aras is the newest member of the family. He is five years old. The transition from Lithuania to America was difficult for him, but he loves having older brothers and hopes someday to be an older brother himself.
