I guess I prefer Katherine because I chose to name my dd Katherine (nn Kate). Between the other two, it would depend on the nn because I like the nicks much better than the names, actually. At the moment, I'm really liking Ellie so I'd have to say Elizabeth over Margaret. Then again, I really like Meg, Meggie and Daisy. I suppose it just could depend on the particular day. Re: Margaret making a comeback, it could happen.
