Jack was delighted when Violet told him the news. He cheered and told his workmates and his boss let him out of work early so he could spend the day with Violet and Chester. When the doctor told us we were having the twins we were pleasantly surprised. Violet suffered from pre-eclampsia so she was admitted into hospital to control her blood pressure. Violet found it stressful to have to stay in hopsital away from her husband and son and Jack and Chester missed her lots so they were very happy when she was discharged. The birth was premature (34 weeks) so the twins were quite small when they were born but they were strong and healthy. Florence and Martha are doing really well now and are settling in to their routine. Violet and Jack are exhausted now they have 3 children. Chester was a little wary of the twins at first but that wore off and he loves to help his parents and he can't wait until they are old enough to play with him.
