Rob and Hazel's family is doing well. They welcomed a son, Miles Edward, in 1887. The farm is producing well and the family recently built a new barn on their property and aquired new livestock from a local auction. Hazel loves raising her children, and has a special relationship with each of them.
Rachel is ten now. She likes writing in her journal and helping her mother around the house. A girl named Leah is her best friend.
Anna is nine. She spends most of her time with Rachel and Leah. Anna likes to sing and also has a talent for playing the piano.
Sarah is seven. She loves being outside and does a lot of work in the garden. She also goes out into the fields with Rob, when Hazel lets her.
Bobby is six. He is quite a handful, and wants to be with his father all the time. Rob recently bought him several sheep to look after, and Bobby loves his new "shepherd" job.
Miles is the baby, at three. He tries hard to keep up with his older siblings, but still enjoys his alone time with Hazel.
