Not my style at all. I can appreciate it if it is a family surname but I find it pretty pretentious nonetheless (I find many surname-names quite pretentious, it's just a thing of mine).

It has a pretty sound to it, though. And I think I can admire it more on a girl that a boy (somehow meeting a little boy Evans seems so much more snobby-sounding than a girl Evans).

Sorry, but I think it's terrible. It doesn't look remotely like a first name. Reminds me of school, where teachers would shout out your surname when they were cross with you.

Dreadful. Rather Agatha Christie at first glance - Why Didn't They Ask Evans? But she was a servant and it was her surname (fn might have been Gladys ... not sure).
