[Opinions] Simon & Simona
I've been thinking about these names a lot, and because I rarely see either of them mentioned here, wanted to hear some opinions. I'm particularly drawn to Simona Caroline. I don't have a perfect Simon combo yet.I do not consider Simone to be nearly as alluring or whimsical as Simona.

Simon David is a current favourite of mine.
I like Simone alot but Simona might have too much "moaner" about it to work.
Your combo is lovely, though.

I love Simon, Simona, and Simone. Simon is my SO's middle name and he once told me that he sort of wished it was his first name because it is more unusual than his first name, Matthew. Oddly enough I knew one Simona (from Romania), but I've never met a Simone in real life, but I've known two online (one girl, one guy). If I were to choose between Simona and Simone I would probably choose Simona. I'm partial to A endings a lot of the time. That said, I really like Simon August as a combo, but I'm not sure about Simona.

Simon starts with a sigh, and Simona contains a moan. I really can't see the appeal of either of them.

I know a Simone from western Germany, and she says her name "zi-MOHN-ə." I prefer that spelling/pronunciation to Simona. Honestly, Simona looks contrived to me. I also like Simone pronounced sih-MOHN though.I like Simon quite a bit. It just seems so earnest and likeable. I don't like it enough to use (and besides, my children's last names will be two syllables and end in -man, so Simon is too singsongy), but I like when others use it.

I love Simon! I would love to use it one day. I'm not very keen on Simona, though, but Simona Caroline doesn't sound all that bad. My favorite Simon combos are Simon Ezekiel, Simon Issac, Simon Elias, Simon Ezra and Simon Emmanuel.

Simona is unusual and rather nice, and Caroline goes well with it. I've always liked Simon, too, but that might just be good associations, as I know many Simons, and they're all nice people. Some Simon combos I like:Simon Patrick
Simon Philip
Simon Benedict
Simon Edward
Simon Wystan
Simon Frederick
Simon Francis
Simon Jerome
Simon Gerald
Simon Tobias

I'm a big fan of both (am also a bit surprised that they're not mentioned more here), but would only use Simon in real life. Simon Emanuel and Simon Benedict are my fave combos. And I prefer Simone for a boy, but that would only work in Italy (likewise with Andrea).
