[Opinions] Exie
WDYT of Exie? Every time I look at the top 1000 names from early in the century, I see this, and it's really been growing on me. I did a google search and found that there was a girl named Exie Irene born in 2004 (named for her greatgreatgrandmother), which makes me think it's usable. I think (not sure) that it's derived from Alexandra (-> Lexi -> Exie), but if I used it, I'd probably use it on it's own. (Especially since I have a friend named Alexandra and my boyfriend is Alexandrew--- and I'm not much for honoring)Current combo is Exie Pomeline.WDYT?

It's cool, nicknamey names like this have been appealing to me a lot lately. Exie Pomeline is really sprightly and fun.I know you said you'd probably use it on its own, but I can't help but mention that I think it would be an awesome initial nickname. Xiomara Estelle or something nn XE Exie. Cool.

Sexie!LOL I could not resist! I think it's neat. Is it really on the top 1000 from 90 years ago? Pretty nifty. I also wonder if it's not somehow related to Eudoxia, as Bear said. It reminds me strongly of that name.Exie Pomeline is pretty creative. I like it. At first I thought Exie would look better next to a more traditional name, but a few examples got me thinking otherwise. It only makes it look lonesome somehow.

Exie is very cute. But it's strictly a nn for me. Alexandra didn't come to mind, although it should have. It's an obvious formal name for Exie. The name that sprang to my mind is Eudoxia. What do you think of Eudoxia, nn Exie?

Sadly, Eu- names don't really appeal to me.I like the look of Eudoxia, but not the sound. THanks though.

I think it's pretty cool. Personally I'd prefer it as a nickname but it's tolerable on its own. Exie Pomeline is fantastic.
