[Opinions] Margarita
What do you think about Margarita? I've fallen in love with it lately, and the nickname Rita. One could also use Maggie or Meg.Margaret and Margareta would be perceived as too old-lady sounding here, but is Margarita too Italian/Spanish?And do you think Iris and Margarita would work for sisters?

Margarita is a drink to me. I love Rita on it's own. I also love Marguerite which has a similar sound to it. I like you could still call a Marguerite by the nn Rita. It isn't a piece of the name but you can still see the sound relationship. ----Betsy-----

A friend of mine is called Margarita, that's probably why I like the name, not so much Margarita as the nn Rita, whish is really sweet._________________________________________________

Sorry, I knew a girl named Margarita in grade school and she was my mortal enemy for years. Whenever I think of Margarita, I think of a nasty bully who made 4th grade the worst year of elemetary school. That aside, I think Rita is a cute nn for it and I think it's better that it is quite Spanish-sounding, but that's not entirely a bad thing. ______________________

The type of pizza is called Margherita, the drink is Margarita.
I really like the name Margarita. I think it is old-fashioned in a good way, and very pretty. I also love Rita as a nickname.
