Carly and Jackson went out when they were 14. Their relationship didn't last long because Carly moved.
Years later Jackson was engaged to a girl named Julia. Through a weird coincidence (or, as they call it, fate) Jackson and Carly happened to be seated next to each other on a plane to Las Vegas. They recognized each other immediately. They talked for hours. They stayed at the hotel and the night before Carly was leaving (after only a one week stay!) Jackson confessed that he was still in love with her. On a whim they got married.
Both of their families strongly disapprove (Jackson's family loved Julia), but they couldn't be happier.
