[Opinions] Troy and Tory
Yes, this is a brother and sister set I know. When said, I obviously noticed the names were matchy, but until I spelled them out loud, I didn't even realize that basically the only difference is the order of two letters.

Yes, it reminds me of the fact that my sister named her youngest daughter Janine. My name is Janice. There is only a difference of one letter. But they are pronounced quite differently. Still, in her place, the fact that I had a sister named Janice would really make me hesitate about using Janine.
I would definitely have avoided Troy and Tory. I only like Tory as a nickname for Victoria anyway, not on its own.

I agree. They don't sound much alike, but they definately look alike.

Heh. Whenever I see the name "Tory," I always read it as "Troy." I'm surprised I didn't read the title of this thread as "Troy and Troy."
