[Opinions] WDYTO Pascal?
. . . and what is your fav spelling of it? Personally, i like Paskal (but it's not in the data base despite it being a very legitimate spelling!) I've never seen it mentioned anywhere, so i'm curious to know what people think of it.

Pascal is one of my favorite names ever.I'd definitely use it for a middle name or first name.(Pascal is the best spelling)

All I think of is Pascal's wager...I do like the sound and meaning. I prefer this spelling, and the French pronunciation. I think it could work very well; it's unusual, but not out there. Could see Pascal having a comeback soon...

I love Pascal, so sophisticated and intellectual. Very underrated. The feminine form, Pascale, is to-die-for gorgeous.A note on pronunciation: I was watching Irish news when the weather man was introduced. His first name was Pascal, but pronounced "PASS-cul," just like the English word pascal. Until then, I had always heard it the French way, "pas-CAHL." I like both pronunciations, but I prefer the "PASS-cul" way. It feels more user-friendly here in the U.S. Plus, the Irish weather guy was very cute.
