I think it's really weird. It sounds more like a place than a person.

It sounds more like a place name or surname to me.

It's really interesting. I've seen it in records as Kimbra, Kimbrah, Kimbro, Kinborrow, Kinbrow, Kimbora, and Kinbarra, right up to the 1930s, so i guess it's possible that there are still people out there with some variant of it. I think it's usable, although I wouldn't use it myself.

I kind of like it but I'm a surname-for-the-first-name enthusiast. Is this an honoring name? Boy or girl?

My bad but it sounded alot like a surname.

I can't imagine it on a person. I find it very unappealing.

I'm not feeling it as a first name at all.

Sounds like the name of a town in New England. I can't imagine it as a name at all. Anything ending in -borough is too placey.
