[Opinions] Henly wdyt?
I kind of fell on to this name. I would only use it for a first middle name. I am thinking for a female but not quite sure on the spelling. What are your opinions is it too outrageous?Other possible spellings:
Henleigh
Henley
Henlee
Henle
Pronunced: Hen-Lee

Henley for a boy...
final answerIt would make a great brother for Killian (boy, right?)
If Killian is a girl, I would say that Henley is good for a girl too!

Henleigh is the first name of the unpleasant man that Gwendolen marries in 'Daniel Deronda' (Victorian novel by George Eliot). I think she probably invented it, as British births, marriages and deaths don't show any real people called Henleigh, although there are a few Henleys (all male). Henley's also a place - Henley-on-Thames, an expensive place to live that's mainly known for its regatta on the river every year. It's not something I'd use as I don't like place-names much, but it's not outrageous, although it does sound very male to me because it's so like Henry. I'd spell it Henley though if you're going to use it.

It's a t-shirt.Any type of shirt with the little placket of buttons that only goes partway down is called a henley:http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&q=henley%20shirt&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wiThat's all I can think of when I see it, regardless of the spelling.
