[Opinions] Re: Cute unique Jewish baby girl names?
in reply to a message by Horserider92
A woman I know just named her baby Hadassah. They use the nn Haddie.
The woman's name is Mahala ("mah-HAY-luh") and her sister's name is Hosana (sp?) who goes by Hosie as a nn.
Other ideas:
Josepha ("jo-SEF-uh"), Miriam, Eliana, Keziah ("keh-ZIE-uh"), Tovah, Lior / Liora, Mayim ("mah-EEM"), Navit, Sarai, Esther / Hester, Marni, Adina, Haviva, Carmel / Carmela, Shalom, Margalit, Marganit, Hepzibah, Elisheva / Elisheba.
And just in case it's a boy: Moishe, Avram (nn Avi), Baruch, Malachai / Malachi, Yerusalem, Judah, Solomon.

Hadassah, nn Haddie is so cute! I've never thought about that as a nickname.
