Location- Winston-Salem, NC
Family 1: Alex and Brantly are excited to start their lives. Alex is a musician who is trying to form his own band. Brantly is a high school PE teacher.
Brantly and Alex just had their first children. Twins! Poppy and Mariam are both very happy babies and were born easily. Brantly has taken maternity leave but wants to return to work soon enough.
The Shapiros welcome Chis to their growing family. Alex is happy to have another child but Brantly is a little overwhelmed with three kids under age two! Poppy and Mariam are both glad to have a baby brother.
Little Sam has just been born. All the children are excited to have a new baby brother! And Alex and Brantly are thrilled. Poppy and Giselle are going to start school soon and Chris is in preschool.
This year, Alex and Brantly have decided to get a divorce. This has been very hard on their kids, especially Poppy and Mariam, who are old enough to wonder why Mommy and Daddy are always fighting.

Family 2: David and Jenn have just moved in. They've been married five years already. David is a police officer. Jenn works as a bank teller.
David and Jenn have just had a son. David is very happy, though Jenn wishes that she had a girl. She still loves Gavin though, who was named after her grandfather. Jenn has decided to become a stay at home mom.
David and Jenn have welcomed their new daughter, Anna. Jenn is glad to have a daughter and so is David. David recently received a promotion at work and is doing well.
The Weiss's have just had another daughter, Rachel. She is very tiny, as she was born prematurly and had to spend several weeks in the hospital. But, now she is fine and the family is very happy with the new sister.
David and Jenn welcome their son Jacob. They Weiss family is doing well, Gavin just started school and is doing well. Anna is learning to read and loves to hear stories
David and Jenn always wanted a big family… Now they have another daughter and are very happy. Gavin is doing well in school, as is Anna, who looks up to her big brother.

Family 3: Margot and Marcelo are newlyweds. Margot is a college student, while Marcelo owns the local Walmart.
Margot and Marcelo were surprised to know that they were going to be starting a family this early. But, they were soon very excited. Little Lilia is a very happy baby.
The Perezs welcomed twins. Margot was very surprised to learn she was going to have 2 babies! Caitlin and Jared both have spanish middle names to honor Marcelo's parents, who came from Uruguay.
Margot and Marcelo had twins again! Margot's very worried about having this many children and the two are working hard to make ends meet, money wise.
Little Paloma is born. Marcelo and Jared are feeling out numbered in this house of girls! Margot has graduated and now is a SAHM, carry for all her babies. Marcelo recently left his job at Walmart to work for the local Target.
Little Maggie was a “surprise” to the Perez’s. But, now, Margot is DONE with having kids. She has her hands full! Marcelo decided to switch careers again and now is going to school to become a pharmacist.

Family 4: Sid and Shay immigrated from India four years ago, one year ago they met each other and they got married very quickly. Sid is working as a waiter in a local restaurant. Shay teaches indian dance classes as well as Yoga.
The Gupta's welcome the birth of their first daughter, Mira. They named her after Shay's mother, and are already planning their visit to India. They also adopted Sid's niece, after his sister died.
Sid and Shay had a new baby- Leela. She is doing very well and is a big baby. Neela is growing up and soon wants to start her own family. Shay went to be a full time yoga teacher and is making lots of money to support the growing family.
Sid and Shay now have a son. They named him Jay, an American version of Sid’s middle name. Leela is a very happy baby and loves to dance. Neela is much older and is considering getting married to her long time boyfriend.

Family 5: Misha and Katya and their kids just moved in. The family is from Russia originally, but all the kids were born in the USA. Dimitri is a basketball player. Misha is an architect. Katya is an interior designer. Irina and Lena are ballerinas, or at least training to become ones. Igor is an artist.
The Glauznov Family is doing well. Misha and Katya decided that they are too old to have any more kids, so they didn’t. They are making lots of money though. Dimitri can’t decide whether or not to go to college or to take a year off. Irina and Lena are in their senior year of high school. Igor is doing fine.
