It has been a busy year in Antanon!
Word has reached the kingdom that the eldest princess, now living with her husband in Eriania, has borne her first daughter. The little girl was named after both her grandmothers, Aurelia and Honora, and is known familiarly as Danica, her second middle name.
Princess Alanna is quite content in Eriania, and her parents are overjoyed at welcoming their first grandchild into the world. King Raph was so excited that he built a manor for Prince Jasper, Princess Alanna and their budding family in the Antanon countryside near the capital city so his grandchildren might have a home in their mother's birthland.
The twins have had their own romance this year. While negotiating the marriage of Princess Victoria to Crown Prince Felix of Geneva, Felix's twin sister Maxine accompanied him and their parents to visit Antanon. Prince Ian, or Prince Valerian as he is beginning to prefer, has always been much more emotional than his serene twin. Prince Valerian encountered Princess Maxine during the visit and the two became enamored with each other. Valerian approached his father the King to beg that Raphael allow the two star-crossed teenagers to marry. Princess Maxine and the rulers of Geneva gladly accepted.
So, with the twins marrying each other, a great wedding ceremony was planned. The festivities spanned over both kingdoms. Princess Victoria was lovely in a glimmering white gown embroidered with sapphires the color of her eyes and diamonds. She wore her dark hair simply up and conducted herself with utmost elegance and grace. All of Antanon was proud of their princess and said that she had been born to be a queen.
Prince Valerian wore an emerald tunic with gold thread, matching the emeralds in the Crown Prince's circlet. He was mischievously handsome, with his usual trickster grin but obviously very happy with his lovely bride.
Princess Ellie was vastly jealous of her older sister's wedding and is beginning to long for her own. She is lighter in complexion than her older sisters, with bronze-colored hair like Queen Winnie instead of their father's black locks. Ellie loves pretty things and excels at needlepoint and dancing. She is developing a reputation of being a bit of flirt and doesn't enjoy her studies very much.
Princess Temmie, on the other hand, is shy and very studious. She enjoys reading and astronomy, and struggles with dancing. She sings very prettily, though, and likes to play the piano. She has black hair and hazel eyes.
Prince Cedric is much like his sister, Alanna. He enjoys the outdoors very much and adores riding with his father and older brother, though he is still on a pony because of his age. He laughs easily and is very kind. He has bronze hair and hazel eyes.
Prince Faramond is still very young and is slowly learning to walk and talk. He has his mother's bronze hair and his father's brilliant blue eyes.
