Elizabeth/Elisabeth - my cousin's name is this and she goes by Liz. I prefer Liza, Elle, or Bette/Beth.
Catherine/Katherine - my goddaughter's name is Lily Katherine Jane and she is, and will forever be, my Kat. 'Kit-Kat' to be exact lol. Her mother calls her Kate but I much prefer Kat as a nn for C/Katherine.
Alexandra - Alex, all the way but if one wanted a girlier nn, I'd go with Xandra.
Annabelle - Belle. Belle is a simple name I wouldn't mind seeing as a comeback. (Jane, too)
Margaret - this is guilty pleasure for me. It's so grown-up but can be 'cutesied' with the nn's Maggie or Mollie.
Ella - anything with "-ella"
Bella - anything with "-bella"
Lily - Lillian, Liliana, etc.
Emmy - Emmeline
Allie - Allison
Cassie - Cassandra or even Calista
Anna/ Annie
Josie - Josephine
Lexi/ Lexie - Alexis or Alexandra
