What are your thoughts on nicknames?
~ It depends on the name and how much I like the sound of the nickname. Some names are so lovely that I couldn't imagine shortening them, such as Zipporah or Yocheved. Other names, like Evelyn or Magdalena are lovely by themselves or with nicknames.
What nn would you use (or none at all) for:
Elisabeth/Elizabeth - Beth
Catherine/Katherine - None
Alexandra - Xan
Annabelle - Belle
Margaret - Meg
What fn would you use these nn's for?

Bella - Sabella
Lily - Lilith
Emmy - Emlyn
