[Opinions] Erlea
I found a new name I like. Erlea. It means "bee" in Basque, which is nice because I like nature names, and it's similar to my grandma's name Erla, which I don't like a whole lot. I'm not Basque at all though. Not that I'm likely to use either Erla or Erlea on a child - I'd have to have twin girls for my next pregnancy! (the next child will have a name from DH's family, and I'm only having 2 pregnancies)Anyway, WDYT?

Pretty in a way, but not especially notable.

What an adorable meaning. To think, somewhere in the world a mother is calling her three year old, "bee." Too cute.If it's pronounced, "ehr-LAY-uh," then I love it. "ur-LEE-uh" would leave me cold, however. And that's the most likely pronunciation where I live. (Baby LC? Waiting until he/she is born before announcing the name? Not a bad idea.)

I'd pronounce it er-LAY-ah. I wouldn't like "early-a" either. LC/Elsie is her online nickname. :3 Her name is Linnea Clara.

The Er- beginning makes it look too old-ladyish to me. It puts me to mind of Ernestine.

I like Erlea as an alternative for Erla. It's a cute name!

I've never seen it before, but I like it too, and the meaning is nice. The Basque name pool is really cool - I had a Basque friend once, shame he wasn't my type!
