William Francis Whitfield joins parents Laura and David and sister Edith in their home in Rockport, Texas. He was born at 2:11pm. He weighed 6 lbs 2 oz and was 20 inches long.
David took a new job as legal consult to a shipping firm out of Corpus Christi. With two small children, he and Laura decided it was time to get out of the city and purchase a more comfortable plantation style home in the town of Rockport. Laura decided it was a good time to leave her job as a nurse since David received a raise with the move. She plans to stay home for at least a few years with her children and experience all this town has to offer. They are thrilled to be near the water. The whole family takes takes the boat out fishing on the weekends and Edie loves to play in the sand at the beach and splash in the waves with her parents. She is very gentle with Will but we're not sure if she understands that he's here to stay. David kids around Laura and calls Will Billy Frank. We hope that nick name doesn't stick.
