I think Otis is comical. I watched "The Andy Griffith Show" while growing up, and Otis was the name of the bumbling drunk who often spent the night in Andy's jail cell.

It's also the name of the pug from "Milo & Otis." Frankly, I think it gives too much ammunition to the kids on the playground.
