Ewan and Whitney met while in college. She was studying abroad in London (majoring in International Studies from University of North Carolina) when she met Ewen, who was studying Pharmacy at King's College. They were together until Whitney had to leave, but still kept it touch. After Ewan graduated, he moved to the US to be with Whitney, a step they both knew meant more than a change of location. The two moved in together as soon as he arrived, and they were married a year later. The traveled back to Europe for their honeymoon to visit his family and spent a week in Italy. After, they settled in Milton, MA where Ewan opened his own pharmacy and Whitney works for the government.
