[Opinions] How do you pronounce Teo?
Personally, I pronounce Teo TEE-oh, like Leo. But i've heard other's pronounce it TAY oh, which sounds wrong to me. I much prefer the way I pronounce it I guessRegardless of what I said above, by initial instinct, how do you pronounce it, i'm curious. Also, what are your overall thoughts on the name?

I pronounce it "TAY-oh" (and that's the only pronunciation I like for it).I like Teo, but only as a nickname for Teodoro and Matteo.

I say TAY-o. I like it as a nn mostly, but I guess it could work as a full name.

TAY-o, as I only know it as a nickname for names that start with the TAY-o sound...

I'd definitely pronounce it "TAY oh", but my mind automatically defaults to Spanish phonetics right now. I also pronounce Leo like "LAY oh" right now too, because the Leos I've met are all Spanish or South American.
I do like Leo as "LEE oh", but Teo as "TEE oh" seems kind of strange to me (I think because 'tío' (tee oh) in Spain is used like, 800 times a day as "dude/buddy/man"). I much prefer Theo myself.

TAY-ohI see it as a nickname for Timoteo, Mateo/Matteo, Teodoro, etc.

I say TAY-oh. I've never met anyone with that name, so I can't say what way I've most often heard it. But based on its origin I'd imagine TAY-oh is the correct way to say it. I think it's an alright nickname for Theodor/Teodoro or Matteo, but too nicknamey to be on its own.

I pronounce it TAY-oh in German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese etc. but TEE-oh in English. I don't really think there's a right or wrong here. It all depends on the language it is used in.ETA: I like Teo as a nickname but not as a full name.
